Will supply HSPA widgets for notebooks and netbooks

LG ELECTRONICS has selected Ericsson to provide mobile broadband modules based on the world’s most commercially deployed technology for this purpose – HSPA. The latest notebooks and netbooks offered by LG Electronics will include mobile broadband modules from Ericsson. More than one billion subscribers deploy HSPA networks all over the world through over 207 commercial routes. A spokeseric said, “We are excited to work with LG Electronics to give consumers and business users the freedom and flexibility to access internet in the way they want it, wherever they are.” Ericsson’s mobile broadband modules are supposed to provide the users with a simple and cost-effective broadband service on the go, which is great, but only if it’s true….
