HP Launches $400 Mini-Laptop PC as It Chases Acer, Dell and Apple iPhone

Hewlett-Packard Oct. 29 unveiled a new mini-notebook in a move to gain ground in the fastest-growing PC category, which until now has been dominated by its smaller rivals, Acer, Dell and even Apple. Apple CEO Steve Jobs called netbook mini-notebook PCs overrated, saying Apple’s iPhone does most of the same tasks.
