Up the Amazon, no paddle required
ADOBE HAS unwittingly given users free access to streaming video content on Amazon.com. A hole in Adobe’s Flash routine allows users to grab the content. BT’s Insecurity expert Bruce Schneier, told Reuters there was a “fundamental flaw” in the Adobe design. “This was designed stupidly,” he said. Judging by the long and sorry tale on Reuters’ pages here, the Snafu is a good excuse for self-appointed industry spokesfolk to demand DRM everywhere. µ
